As a chair, the Science Fair is a really rewarding experience. Seeing the wonderful projects and enthusiasm by the children make all the work worthwhile. If you choose to volunteer for the committee, your tasks can vary from working on the advertisements to helping check in projects on the days leading up to the fair. Since the tasks are quite organized, a volunteer can pick and choose a level of work that would work with their schedule. Committee meetings are also fun and a great way to meet other parents from Carriage Crest! Laurie & Linda will both leave Carriage Crest after next year. We need people for them to mentor.
