It is hard to believe that the year is over and my term as President is ending.  I am very thankful for all of the support and time provided by the Parents, Teachers and Staff at Carriage Crest in creating a successful year.  Without all of you, we would not have been able to accomplish all that we have done to benefit the children.  I can’t possibly thank each person individually, but I hope everyone knows how much they are appreciated for each minute they have spent volunteering during the course of the year.  I understand how hard it is to make those time commitments, but every moment you help does make a difference!

Thank you to everyone who came to the General Membership Meeting on June 7^th.  2011 – 2012 Standing Rules, Goals and Objectives as well as Budget were approved at the meeting.  All elected officers were installed – congratulations to them all.

A big Thank You to Gina Montgomery and Jill Paino for a wonderful Field Day event. Congratulations to all those RAD Readers, they were rewarded with a special treat.  Thanks goes out to Kristen Loerhmann and Debbie Radice for chairing this important program. Also a special thanks to Deana Carver, who stepped up and coordinated our Walk-a-Thon this year. Thanks to everyone who donated and volunteered.  It is fundraisers like this that allow PTSA to run all the programs we do.  A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped make these events successful for the children.

Congratulations to all of the 6^th graders who have graduated.  We wish you all the best in your future endeavors in Middle School.  Thanks to all of the volunteers and teachers who made their graduation, party and celebration special.

 

I’m thrilled to pass the baton on to Heidi DuPuis as President next year and Jill Paino as President-elect.  I know they will do a great job leading the PTSA next year, in fact they already have many wonderful events planned.  If anyone is interested in volunteering time next year, please let them know.  We have a some committee chair positions still open!
