PTSA sponsors two Scholastic Book Fairs
each year. Scholastic Books delivers
books for all ages to purchase, and a percentage of the profits go directly to
benefit the library, support our classrooms, as well as fund WASL snacks for the
year.
Responsibilities:
The chairperson is responsible for planning and holding the fairs. This includes
working directly with the book company, scheduling deliveries and pick ups,
setting up and taking down the displays. They also coordinate all volunteers and
are responsible for promotions, teacher discounts and financial reports.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and take down the fair. They also are
needed to work at the fair helping customers, straightening books or making
pick-ups at the warehouse. Volunteers may help out as much or as little as they
choose. Without volunteers the book fair couldn't happen.

Time
Commitment: 2 hours at a time
